who still lives here. They are the links to our heritage.
Our community is changing, but we still hold on to many of
the old ways. The lives of those who came before us is extremely
important to us and our lives are still rich in their culture.
The fishery is still the heart of the community. Most jobs
are either directly or indirectly related to the industry.
The remainder of out workforce is made up of service industry
workers including lighthouse keepers, store clerks, school
teachers, hydro workers, and post office employees.
